Amalgam was this silly and fun project where Marvel and DC Comics created new characters by merging some others.The merged characters lived in a parallel universe known as Amalgam.
Chabelo is the alter ego of comedian and TV host Xavier Lopez.Mr. Lopez is quite tall and robust,and as Chabelo he dresses up as a child,so he looks like one of those kids that grow too tall and strong for their age.Chabelo has appeared in many movies,and has hosted a long-running Sunday morning contest show for kids.The catafixia is the most popular contest of that show.Before the end,a kid contestant is randomly selected and is offered the chance of changing his prizes for the things hidden behind 1 of 3 curtains.The catch is,you can either win a bigger prize (like a car,a vacation trip or a year's supply of candy),or lose everything by "winning" a mock prize (like a rock,a box of paper clips or something like that).Of course,is very fun watching both the joy and the frustration of the contestants of the catafixia,but it can also be a stressful experience while you wonder if they'll choose a cool prize or a phony one.

Chabelo es alter ego del comediante y conductor de TV,Xavier Lopez.El Sr. Lopez es bastante alto y robusto,y como Chabelo se viste como niño,de modo que se ve como uno de esos niños que crecen demasiado altos y fuertes para su edad.Chabelo ha aarecido en varias películas,y ha conducido un longevo programa infantil de concursos de domingos por la mañana.La catafixia es el concurso más popular de dicho show.Antes del final,un niño concursante es elegido al azar y se le ofrece la oportunidad de cambiar sus premios por lo que hay oculto detrás de 1 de 3 cortinas.El truco es,que uno puede igual ganar un premio más grande (como un auto,un viaje de vacaciones o una dotación de dulces por un año),o perderlo todo al "ganar" un premio en falso (como una piedra,una caja de clips o algo por el estilo).Por supuesto,es muy divertido ver lo mismo la alegría que la frustración de los concursantes de la catafixia,pero también es una experiencia muy stressante mientras uno no sabe si escogerán un premio chido o uno chafa.
