Notes in English
I think that the gag of Batman being mobbed by his fans was first done by Sergio Aragones in MAD Magazine. Then again, the focus in this cartoon is a satire of local comic book conventions, which many times were —and still are— coordinated by very cheap and greedy persons, and attended by rude fanboys.
All the fanboys' captions are based upon real quotes of fans talking to special guests and heard over and over in many cons. The only apocryphal caption is the one about Ejea, which was a local imprint known mostly for its soft-porn comics. It was despised by many readers of American super-hero comics, hence the irony of suggesting about Batman "working" there instead of DC Comics.

Don't be fooled by the 1998 date,I actually drew this cartoon during the winter of 1997.
