Soccer is the most popular sport in Mexico.And in this cartoon all the references are about soccer teams.
Cruz Azul (Blue Cross) is a team whose uniform is blue and white.
The uniform of the Chivas Rayadas de Guadalajara (Striped goats of Guadalajara) is white with vertical red stripes.
The logo of the Atlas team is a capital letter 'A'.
And the Aguilas del America (Eagles of America),sometimes simply called as The America, is another team.
Pachuca,Atlante and Monterrey are yet another teams.

El soccer es el deporte más popular en México.Y en este cartón todas las referencias son respecto a equipos de soccer.
El Cruz Azul es un equipo cuyo uniforme es azul con blanco.
El uniforme de las Chivas Rayadas de Guadalajara es blanco con franjas rojas verticales.
El logo de el Atlas es una letra 'A' mayúscula.

Soccer is the most popular sport in Mexico.Oddly,the national team (supposed to be a dream team of the best players in all the country) that participates in any international tournaments hardly wins any games.
Mexican fans are used to it though,but it is always fun to hear the excuses from the different coaches —in a cynical way at least.

El soccer es el deporte más popular en México.Extrañamente,la selección nacional (supuestamente un equipo de ensueño con los mejores jugadores de todo el país) que participa en todo torneo internacional difícilmente gana al menos un partido.
Los hinchas mexicanos ya están acostumbrados de todos modos,pero siempre es divertido escuchar las excusas de los diversos directores técnicos —al menos desde una postura cínica.

Well,it's obvious that if Captain America were created in Mexico he wouldn't be dressed as the American flag...but if he were Mexican,he would be using a very goofy and kitschy costume.The name of Subcommander Mexicalpan is just me poking fun on Mexicans' sense of pollitical correctness (being a subcommander emphazises he's an upper rank than a captain,yet he's clearly below a supreme commander).

Provida is a Mexican civil association with an almost fundamentalist interest in right-wing politics,morality and nationalistic values.

I think it's funny how I put Captain America wishing to be shot,and then that's exactly how he got killed after the Civil War crossover.

Vale,es obvio que si el Captain America hubiera sido creado en México no estaría vestido como la bandera estadounidense...pero si fuera mexicano,usaría un traje muy kitsch y ridículo.El nombre de Subcomandante Mexicalpan es una burla a lo que es el sentido de los mexicanos de lo políticamente correcto (al ser un subcomandante,se enfatiza que es superior a un capitán,pero no deja de ser claramente inferior a un comandante supremo).

Provida es una asociación civil mexicana con un interés casi fundamentalista en política de derecha,moralidad y valores nacionalistas.

Se me hace curioso cómo fue que pinté al Captain America deseando que le den un tiro,y fue exactamente así como lo mataron tras el crossover de Civil War.
