Razón #77
Translation:
-Reason Nº 77 Why There Ain't No Mexican Super-heroes... (Grandma, what big eyes you have...)
Samy —Whoah! What happened with you Captain Marvel?
Captain Marvel —Nothing,it's just that I haven't worked at anything since 'Kingdom Come',so I hired a new image consultant to improve me with a more commercial look...
—And I don't know,suddenly I crave some sushi...
Note —(Notice that now when he yells 'Shazam!' he doesn't get struck by lightning and he rather shines)
Doriancito —And what about you Green Arrow? New image consultant?
Green Arrow —No! I'm just coming from getting off the microbus!!

This is another favorite of mine. Many people keep telling me that I have a manga style but oddly I don't read much manga at all.Even more, once a professional cartoonist reviewed my art portfolios and then told me: «hey, you draw in a Japanese-like style because you really want to sell more drawings, don't you?».So I thought that at least for once I'd try to really imitate manga style.

A microbus is a Mexican public transport. As its name suggests it's like a bus but in a smaller size that lets it move more easily in narrow streets and avenues.Microbus drivers are also known to be quite wild and crazy at driving, because they can move faster than common buses and they're big enough so the other cars don't mess with them.Sometimes a microbus ride can be like an extreme roller coaster.

Airplane —Control tower...this is Aeromexico's flight 439,Is there any air traffic in the area?
Tower —Control tower here;you've got Silver Surfer at 200 feet, the Dukes of Hazzard's General Lee at 800 feet,Superman at 1300 feet, and both Birdman and Hawkman at 500 feet...and if you're thinking about landing, hurry up,because we are also waiting for an UFO from the ID4 movie and 2 Shi'ar star cruisers! May God help you!
American Godzilla —Yummy-yummy!
Godzooky —Daddy?
Running man —Hey! I did like your movie!
-Reason Nº 39 Why There Ain't No Mexican Super-heroes...

Notes in English
Can you find Waldo in this pic? Okay,Waldo is not actually there, but still there's a lot of characters and not all of them are super-heroes.
Mexico City's airport is very crowded,so it's not hard to think how chaotic it would become if there were flying super-heroes everywhere.

(And yes,I'm a fan of the Japanese Godzilla, but I didn't thought the American version was very bad at all)

Thor —For Asgard!
Captain Marvel —Shazam!
Superman —I don't know what I'm doing here! Somebody call Mike Carlin or Dan Jurgens!
Man —Er...excuse me,I'm from the electric company, before you go to save the world, you must pay your bill, you owe us $3 millions and that's just the electricity you used yesterday!
-Reason Nº 17 Why There Ain't No Mexican Super-heroes...

Notes in English
As you can guess,I drew this cartoon a little after Superman got electric powers.Mike Carlin was the editor in chief of the Superman comics, and Dan Jurgens was the most popular writer and artist in said titles.
